Korean Localization QA Tester
Seattle, WA - January 26, 2012
As a Korean Localization QA Tester, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks specific to translation testing, including but not limited to: creating and executing test cases; finding, reproducing and isolating bugs; and logging and regressing all manner of technical and game play issues. This position will begin as part-time, with the possibility of converting to a full-time position. We’re looking for someone who shares a deep interest in social games and the iPhone as a gaming platform. REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience testing games or equivalent technical experience
- Native-level written & spoken command of Korean
- Strong understanding of Korean cultures
- Assist programmers in the implementation of UI components
- Contribute to the design of UI tools and processes
- Employment authorization for the United States
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience testing foreign language products
- Passion for games and customer experience
- Able to work independently or in small teams effectively
- Ability to handle shifting schedules, multiple projects with flexible hours
- In depth understanding of the development cycle of a game project
- Excellent written and communication skills, in both English and Korean
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Inquisitive mindset with a passion for casual gaming
